Composted Barks is a high quality fine bark. Perfect for professional growers and nurseries as a valuable growing media ingredient which helps provide soil structure and stability.
This product is an FSC certified mixed fine bark consisting of 0 – 08mm particle sizes. Composted Bark Fines is a matured fine bark suitable for peat free plant production.
Composted Bark Fines are a long-lasting, durable and natural type of mulch. They are ideal for all kinds of flower beds, borders and large containers, and provide optimum weed suppression and moisture retention. This is a composted product, so it is more durable than other bark products and enriches soil fertility over time by slowly releasing nutrients into the soil.
With their rich dark colour, Composted Bark Fines create an inviting appearance in the garden by beautifully showcasing flowers and foliage.

If you are using Composted Bark Fines as a soil conditioner, spread them on the soil with the help of a rake to a depth of 2.5-5cm (1″-2″). The minimum depth for effective weed suppression is 5cm (2’’). If the soil is very heavy and chalky, you can apply Composted Bark Fines to a depth of 10cm (4’’).
If you are using Composted Bark Fines as a mulch, spread them on the soil with the help of a rake to a depth of 2.5-5cm (1″-2″). Make sure to leave a gap between stems and mulch to avoid plant damage.
