How to Use

• As a soil conditioner — dig or rotovate into existing soil before planting at a rate of one bulk bag per 10–15 square metres to thoroughly improve structure and fertility
• When planting — blend with native soil in planting holes for trees, hedges and shrubs to give roots a nutrient-rich, well-structured start
• As a mulch — spread a 5–10cm layer over borders, beds and allotments to suppress weeds, retain moisture and slowly feed the soil as it breaks down
• On lawns — use as a top dressing in spring or autumn to improve soil beneath the turf and encourage lush, healthy growth
• For vegetables & raised beds — mix into beds before sowing or planting to create a fertile, moisture-retentive growing medium
• Annual refresh — use as a mulch every other year to keep borders packed full of goodness for healthy annual growth and flowering
